Program Highlights

The Florida Medical Device Symposium is Florida’s premier event for medical device manufacturing companies.  Presentations during the 2010 event featured nationally recognized speakers, industry panel discussions on regulatory issues, legislative updates and networking opportunities. 

The first day began with discussions about federal regulations and FDA enforcement.  Followed by a networking reception within the industry exhibit hall.  Sessions on the second day included topics such as risk management, vendor audits, outsourcing, the Department of Health and a national industry update provided by Thomas Novelli, Director of Federal Affairs, Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA).
